Robert Frost wrote ‘America is hard to see’ in a poem about Columbus ‘discovering’ America, but Anna Nangle asks us, is Australia even harder to see? Nangle is a non-indigenous, Sydney born, Australian who has always felt a sense of cultural disconnection to the land and its stories and that she us somehow unable to 'see' it. This film is her attempt to create a connection to country through layering stories and memories about place and people within the Sydney landscape.
