Acting as a portal into a speculative future narrative, this work investigates the implications of humanity’s impending expansion to Mars through the moving image. Exploring how myth and ritual may evolve once humanity settles on the red planet, this work considers what could happen if humanity had to sever their physical, mythological and spiritual ties with Earth to alternatively find connections with the dusty regolith and rusty skies of Mars.
