Un-Australia
Referencing the 'good old days' of Australia, 'Un-Australia' investigates the glorification of a time before non-white immigration and Aboriginal citizenship, critiquing the current government's non-inclusive policies. Depicting alien landscapes created from classic Australian foods such as Iced Vo-Vos, meat pies and pavlova, the piece speaks to the artist's feelings of alienation from the Australian culture, as a child of refugees.
