'22/f/aus' is a 'wikiHow' on surviving the erasure of racial, and queer identity in virtual communities. The work utilises conventions of YouTube makeup tutorials to paint a picture of what it means to occupy a space that is considered 'white by default' with easy to follow instructions. With '22/f/aus', D'Souza was a finalist in the Digital Portraiture Award (2017), Fishers Ghost Prize and was the recipient of the Kudos Emerging Artist & Designer Award (2017).
