A Calming Touch
'A Calming Touch' explores how the implementation of art therapy programs can improve the wellbeing of individuals residing in aged care facilities. The program focuses on increasing stimulation, decreasing boredom levels, and potentially providing a solution to the problem of ‘restless hands’. The individuals residing in the aged care facilities originally created the beads out of bees wax, which was then cast, cleaned up and strung by the designer, Meghan Kelly.
