Jamie was selected as an exhibiting finalist for the UNSW Royal Doulton Award in 2016. The growing trend of outdoor events within the UK and Australia displays an opportunity for people to re-connect to natural surroundings. The picnic mat is an “out of home” textiles piece that always permeated a sense of inclusion as individuals usually come together, sit and eat on the mat.
