This work explores whether colour and repair on textile bed linen waste materials can act as a transformative method of stress relief. Deriving stress from the immense amount of bed linen items considered waste, Jamie Parmaxidis undertook an auto-ethnographic practice-led research approach to explore the damage of the object and the effect that it produces. This involved keeping a dream journal, then transforming this documentation into typography screen prints onto the stress material.
