'Recycle, Replay & Rejoice' is an extension of Candy Gray’s exploration of the nativity story. Using recycled cedar paired with reclaimed brass, the pieces are inspired by an affection for mid-century modern toys and Danish minimalism. The lure of this story feeds her desire to design, make and recreate the cast of characters in playful toy-like forms. The viewer is encouraged to interact with the pieces and interchange or rearrange them as they see fit.
