Beth Smith's practice explores how the artist's body can become the subject, author and tool in the painting process while challenging past representations of the nude woman in painting. With body printing at the core of her work, Smith's practice is process led with a focus on expanded painting. Through embodiment, Smith experiments with reorganising and reinventing the conventions of the female form.
