‘Where the ocean meets the past’ explores the interaction between memory and identity over the landscape of time. The past and present negotiates with each other in a space of ongoing movement in the same way that the recollection of memories causes one’s sense of identity to change. Yussie Feng utilises animation to examine the way memories have the capacity to puncture the linear timeline.
