‘Interior Actions’ proposes a new relationship to sustainability, one that is not reliant on object alternatives, but instead promotes a mindfulness towards resource consumption and disposal. Through design exploration and interventions, Samantha Blues intends to disrupt ritualistic practices in the domestic setting, and encourage mindfulness in everyday actions. By proposing alternative ways to interact with daily objects and spaces, Blues raises consciousness towards resource disposal in order to create a sense of ongoing responsibility.
