This series explores the application of crafting methods to transform waste into functional and desirable objects. The work consists of a kit that can be downloaded and laser cut, allowing anyone to utilise the system, as well as accompanying instructions to produce a range of bags at home from their own household's waste. The kit allows individuals to discover the unexploited potential of waste materials and consider their own wasteful behaviours through this illuminating yet non-confrontational experience. This clutch was woven from recycled waste materials, and is part of a series of bags woven utilising a custom designed laser cut loom which facilitates the process of waste regeneration at home.
