Milica's work explores the common perception of local Australian identity that is formed by a Romanticism of rural labour and coastal recreation which is a misrepresentation of a holistic Australian identity. This idea has strayed people from a more honest depiction of Australian identity, which is the indigenous knowledge and relationship with the land. This building allows Indigenous artists and Sydney’s art and design students parallel dialogues that speak of a truer nature of how Australian culture has unfolded.
