Designing for Autism
'Designing For Autism' provides easily digestible information pertaining to the designing of autistic facilities within a concise publication format. In both written and graphic mediums, Makenzie McFarlane addresses key design theories from leading architects and ASD experts for autism-friendly educational environments through both 'sensory-sensitive' and 'neuro-typical' approaches. This intent to better educate contemporary designers is rooted in a broader desire to ensure future architecture is sensitive towards autistic users to successfully improve their living standards.
