Karen De Lara approaches motion graphics as a form of storytelling that is capable of expressing narratives greater than any individual experience. Within her short film ‘Seeking Light’, De Lara implements her animation skills towards visualising the exploration of an individual’s pursuit towards happiness. The work illustrates how happiness is a contestable concept that often becomes a lifelong pursuit for individuals.
