'Charmed' is a series of charms taking the forms of a ring, bracelet and necklace. Together these pieces represent the spiritual and metaphysical culture of Maori people. The ring symbolises the 'Hei-Matau' or Maui’s magical fishhook that brings prosperity, strength and good health. The ornaments that construct the necklace represent the 'Koru' which is a prayer for new life, birth and harmony. The bracelet was built from 'Pikorua' or the single twist amulets, which is a powerful statement of loyalty, friendship and love.
