Jessica Leggett’s practice explores the medium of photography as both documentation and deception. Her work 'Clouds and Mirrors' attempts to combine, challenge and play with the dualities of document and deceit, reality and fiction, truth and magic, in order to critique the historical authority and power of a photograph. Through the use of model construction, documentary and staged photography, Leggett reimagines a scene that urges the viewer to question the nature of photography.
