Emma Bonthorne is a multidisciplinary media artist working primarily in video, sound, and image production. She also has experience in short film and documentary making, stop motion animation, digital photography and sound design. Most recently, Bonthorne has been exploring representations of explicit imagery such as those surrounding the meat industry and consumption in contemporary Western cultures. These works draw from her own experiences as a practicing vegetarian and animal rights activist.
