Under the Same Sky
Emerald Jingjing Yang's work 'Under The Same Sky' contains two individual prints in the form of a movable book and is inspired by the Long-Period Comet in 1811, which could be seen by the naked eye for up to 260 days worldwide. At the end of the 19th century, everyone around the world, regardless of their nationality, could look up at the same sky and silently watch the visitor who had traveled through distant time and space. At that moment, the differences between people quietly melted. Yang believes that perhaps thousands of years later, this comet will return once again creating a miraculous memory of that certain year.
