This work is part of a ritualistic memorial practice allowing late loved-ones to remain present in our ever-evolving lives. The ritual involves the arrangement of common items into sensory assemblages that use smell, taste, touch, sight and sound to trigger specific memories of loved-ones. The book acts as an evolving recipe for the ritual, changing with time. Each occasion is documented with a polaroid and placed in the album, collating over time a rich representation of a sacred memory.
