Alisson Ortuno’s short animated film 'Re-Pair' explores the emotional experience of trauma in a Bolivian woman who has recently escaped an abusive relationship. Taking aspects from personal experiences and Bolivian culture, ‘Re-Pair’ highlights the battle between remaining in an abusive relationship or escaping into the real world alone. The scars and trauma left from the previous relationships remain, but the ability to evolve into a stronger person is what gives these women hope.
