The Fast Carriage-Perspective
'The Fast Carriage' responds to the lack of opportunities for stimulation or interaction provided by Sydney trains for passengers on their daily commutes. This lack of stimulation caused by experiencing familiar and mundane environments leaves passengers to think about the passage of time. Alexandra Barrett's project 'The Fast Carriage' engages with interior and interactive game design to provide ever-changing mental and physical stimulation for passengers to interact with, shifting their perception of time. The carriage incorporates interactive laser projections that project on both the walls and floors of the carriage for passengers to play with.
